*stretches* I'm out!
Not planning to start my breeding project for around a year, but I do realize I will need to get an incubator! Does anyone have a link for a good place to buy one? (Will be just one bredding pair) Tried the search function, but its blocked by the school network for some reason ~,~ Also... are those glad disposable cheap tupperware type containers good for housing eggs and hatchlings? Final question, what is the actual title of Kathy Love's book, and where can I order it from (online)? Searched "Kathy Love" on Indigo.ca but came up with only romance novels LOL (and yes, I clicked search by author =P)

I got my Hovabator from LLLReptile.com. Every so often they have a deal that includes the incubator and incubating medium (usually vermiculite) for a decent price. Their Hovabators are actually cheaper than the exact same ones available at our local feed store.

They're pretty simplistic to operate and also pretty accurate. Just make sure you have it up and running at least a week in advance of your eggs, to make sure you work out all of the kinks and make sure there aren't any temp spikes wherever you place it.

The hovabators are pretty limited as to what height of container you can use. So I guess the Glad ones that are about sandwich sized would do ok. I generally use 6.75" x 2.5" deli cups (also available from LLL). They're clear so I can easily monitor the eggs without lifting the lid, and already come with air holes. I've been using them for 3 years now, and don't think I'd use anything else.

Hope that helps. =)

Anyone know an online store where I can buy Kathy Love's book? I can buy it off her site, but its paypal, and I don't trust them (they screwed my bro over with a $500 purchase from Ebay ~,~) Indigo can get it from the publisher, but the publisher has none in stock ATM, and I was told its going to be quite a wait... and I want one now =P
