Covering Walls of Vivarium

Hey y'all. Do you think that my corn (6 months) would feel happier/more secure if I put up a backdrop on three of the walls of his viv? I was thinking paper or camoflouge burlap but I'm not sure how to secure it without tape or if burlap will be ok for my corn. Thanks for any help.

If it's an aquarium just attach on the outside. Anything will do, but foam board or styrofoam will help moderate temps. If you already have opaque walls, the snake probably won't notice, whatever you do, but you might enjoy the scenery more. You could paint a scene with non-toxic paints, or maybe attach a pre-made background with that putty stuff used to hang posters. The snake will love going behind the background just to annoy you. There are all kinds of websites devoted to the carving, coating, painting, and planting of expanded foam to make realistic rock outcrops, or whatever your imagination can come up with. Google will give you more ideas than you can deal with.

Thanks for the reply. My temps are fine so I think I'm gonna attach the camo burlap to the outside of the tank walls since I'm worried the burlap is bad for Tamale. The walls are clear at the moment by the way.

I don't think they really have any interest in visuals, but it definitely makes for a more attractive viv. And I agree with backafter30, always put the deco on the outside, many snakes like to hide behind it if it is inside the viv.
