Culled mice

This is what was culled on Sunday. 300+ hopper to small mice. Oh so many mice. The bins were thinned out. We'll start pulling pinkies soon with hatchlings on the way.

Thank you! It's fun to play around with mouse genetics. They reproduce and mature so fast that you can have many generations per year to get a specific trait.

I'm trying to get some good Extreme Black mice going. It's more difficult to get all black mice (including skin) than I thought.

I agree... very cute. The snakes think they're cute too... you should see them cuddle together. Sooo cute. :grin01: I'm actually a big sucker when it comes to the shiny ones or the soft chinchilla looking ones. I end up making those breeders.

OMG.. I wish I had read more carfully the title. I totally got the creep crawlies looking at those. I"m deathly afraid of mice and even just seeing pictures like that get to me! Heck I can't even handle the mice to feed the snakes unless they are in baggies before I thaw them. If not in baggies, I make my daughters thaw them out....LOL

They do. Just like oysters. uhhhh... I mean they probably do. Right... they probably taste just like chicken.
