Did you get anything nice?

I bought myself a Lavblood. She's the best present! And from some friends I got a pretty wire and bead double pigeon key holder thingy that goes on the wall. My exBF gave me two children's books: Don't Let The Pigeon Stay Up Late and Don't Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus. And, strangely, a small hardcover book called "What's Your Poo Telling You?" I am not sure why...I scoffed at it, but reading it later, it is pretty interesting. It has chapters such as Floaters vs. Sinkers, Monster Poo and Soft Serve, all with medical explanations. I'm not exactly sure what I did to deserve that. And a bag of Ghiradelli chocolates. And that about sums up my Christmas...

Goodness... Thats a different kind of book! But I guess if its legit. with medical things, it could be very interesting!

My husband and I give each other more for our birthdays than at Christmas. As long as the kids have a good Christmas that is MY Christmas. This year the kids had a great one. Although our CV joint went in our car Christmas eve and we can't afford to fix at the moment. That was a bummer. But, Christmas was still a wonderful family time. You should see Christmas morning with 7 children.

I got a zoo....

Ok, so I got a membership for the Oregon Zoo...so now I can go when ever I want. I was pretty much over-the-top giddy. I love my hubby, he thinks of the neatest things. I also got a necklace from a wonderful artist, a massage certificate, some other misc small stuff. We're going to be buying a TV as well. All in all a very good year.

My friend talked to me about a book like that once, except it was a diet book of some sort by Marilu Henner and she wrote about sinkers & floaters...interesting. I wonder if you can also tell your fortune from it, too, like tea leaves...:p

I love the kids' books by Mo Willems -- good, funny stuff. :) Do you have the kids' book by Taro Gomi, "Everybody Poops" (to go with the poop-theme here!)? I bought it for my niece so that my mom could read it non-stop for her...I also got her, "The Gas We Pass." My mom, who can be rather prim about those subjects at times!, is absolutely *thrilled* that I gave them to Ava...;)

I am SOOOO excited! I love the books, but I have not listened to the soundtrack or anything yet. I don't know if I should wait until the show to hear the music or do it before hand! :)

You want a copy of the "Wicked" soundtrack? I'll copy & mail it to you...;) You know, as a gift, of course...:) I loved reading the book & the show was just as fantastic...although, there was one wee little detail that got skewed -- I'm sure because of the fluidity of the show onstage, but -- when you'll see it, you'll know what I mean. My friend & I both read the book before seeing the show, and when that little blip came up, we looked at each other, said "huh?" and just shrugged our shoulders...poetic license, I s'pose. :)

My boyfriend & I were looking to get "Phantom..." tickets for the holidays, which we've both seen already, but we went for Chicago Blackhawks hockey tickets, instead...and, if you can, go see "The Colour Purple" -- awesome!!! Simply awesome...:)

I had a sweet X-Mas this year. I got xbox 360 elite with rock band. Rock Band is my new fav game. I collect these dolls call living dead dolls i got 4 of them to add to my growing collection. I also got a 18" motion activated Michael Myers doll and Rob Zombies Halloween. I got a lot more stuff but why make this to long with what i got. I thought i would share my favs.

Fave present:
- Archaeologists' toolkit that I bought for myself. Who'd have thought you could actually buy a trowel with "Archaeologist" written on it? Superb.

But The "You WOT?" Mystifying Present of 2007 goes to:
- A set of five cheese knives from my Mum. I don't even own a dining table, still less hold the kind of civilised intimate candle-light suppers where I would produce a cheese board. The height of sophisticated group dining in my home is insisting that people keep the meat chilli serving spoon away from the veggie chilli! Cheese is eaten from the pack and cut with any knife that come to hand.
