i found pieces of wood out side and want to put them in my tank for my corn to climb on. i removed the bark and sanded them smooth, put them in a bucket of 1:10 ratio of bleech and water for an hour, then in a bucket of pure water for about 8 hours, then them let them dry, then put them in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. i just want to make sure i'm not harming my corn.

That should be fine. As long as there is not smell of bleach coming off the wood then its safe!

That's pretty much exactly what we did for the wood in our beardy & leo enclosures a few months ago... never had a problem with 'em since putting them in :)

That should be fine. Bleaching it kills most of the germs and then baking it should get rid of all of the things that might be living on the wood...so I would think that it's fine to put the wood in....
Good Luck and Happy Herping!

(Just wondering, where in Canada are you located? I am in London Ontario)
