OK, been waiting for this thread so I can show mine off.
I have three.
My first is a Hippocampus inside right ankle, done 10yrs ago:

3 tats for now. A pentagram inside a celtic knot on my lower back, a little tribal that kinda looks like a heart on my right arm, and a yellow ribbon with my best friend/adopted brothers initials in it on my left arm.
Plans:
a full back piece. Get the pentagram "carved" into an erupting volcano with a phoenix bursting out. The phoenix's wings will stretch from shoulder to shoulder and its head up to the back of my neck.

I got this when I was 16 (two summers ago), I gotta say that I regret it, I don't regret the words on it, theyre from a KSE song basically about never giving up so its a good message, but for the tribal, I picked it off the wall (Im ok with the cross though because I'm pretty religious so I was gonna get the cross eventually) because I wanted a tattoo so bad, just anything. I might like get it edited and stuff later on.
My next is gonna be in a few weeks, my last name in cursive between my chest and deltoid. What I REALLY want done eventually is a very life-like green anaconda wrapped around my upper arm, To represent a few things, love for reptiles, love for the water but most of all to represent the "Squeeze" factor of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

thanks blueturtle! i really do have an amazing tattoo artist, he's SO light handed, which results in no raised area of the healed tattoo, and he's AMAZING at colors and shading! too bad he moved l3 provinces away

the guy i went to for mine, was really light handed too. mainly because i told him it was my first and i was a bit nervous about the pain. well after it healed its a bit patchy. so i have to get it touched up. he did say that would have though because its on my wrist and apparently i move my wrists alot... lol

The tribal snake design that was supposed to be an arm band would put the snakes heads under my arm, so I'm going to move it up to my shoulder.
The other one is my scull and cross bones, and will probably be put on the back of my left calf or on my back, not sure yet...
