IT'S GOOD TO BE KING
Do you think kids should be micro-chipped?
I'm not sure if the technology is here yet but if there was a micro-chip that communicated with satelights and these chips could be monitored by parents to track their kids over the internet and by law enforcement once permission by the parents was given. Once the person turned 18 they could have the choice to remove or keep it. Would you support this idea? Would you have this chip inserted into your children?
I think kidnappings and sexual assaults on kids would go down. I think parents would also have more controll over their kids good or bad. For example the 16 year old girl who told her parents she was going to Canada and then headed to Jordan/Israel could have been a disaster for that girl if she ever did make it to Israel. The chip would allow parents to see where their kids are and law enforcement the upper hand to track these kids down. If we implanted these chips when kids are born and didn't tell them where it was in their body till they were 18 that also would lower the chance of the kids cutting themselves and taking out the chip. Would it work 100%, no but with every idea there is good and bad and I think in the long run the good outweighs the bad.
There are times I wouldn't want my parents tracking me but that's because I am up to no good and understand they just care. If I was ever taken I would feel better I could be found.
