I do things via direct debits.... I'm lazy.....
But I am a member of ARK......Acts of Random Kindness.
These happen when and where they fit in....And you know it's the right thing to do...

This isn't volunteer work, but I'm in the bone marrow registry. I'd totally donate marrow if they found me a match. Just think, you could be that person's ONLY chance.

It's a very a rough but admirable thing to do. My mom was in the registry and got called up one day with a match. It was a very trying and painful experience for her, and unfortunately the patient ended up dying a few months afterwards, but my mom was always glad she at least gave her a shot.

My work has a booth every year at the Colorado AIDS Walk, and I volunteer to work that. If the Colorado Reptile Humane Society wasn't so far away, I'd volunteer there, too.

I do volunteer work and fundraising for the MS Society. I'm also in the process (with a group of fabulous people) of setting up a reptile rescue.
