Yesterday was "smorgasbord Sunday" when everyone eats (the big kids get fed every other week) and I realized after it was over how many pages of important and telling information I had collected in this one book. The now-wrinkled sheets, the lines through what was fed but uneaten, the rising numbers in the weight column, all handwritten made me feel like I accomplished something good, something positive, and I needed that in my life right about now.
