Does extra exerciser mean extra feedings are needed?

So I have had my Snow Corn for a little over 3 weeks now. He's about to be on Fuzzy's so to ease him into it I got him one peach fuzzy for this weekend when I feed him.

I play with him almost everyday and I have fed him 2 pinkies once a week like the people at the pet store did. He is (i'm estimating here might be a inch off or so) 19-20 inches long and was born October of 2011. he had just shed when I just got him 3 weeks ago and hasn't done it again yet.

My question is this? for me to play with him every day is it underfeeding for his age and size for me to feed him once a week?

if I am underfeeding him is that lowering his size? I want him to be big and healthy so should I feed him more then what I am?

I would feed him every 5-7 days the appropriate prey size. I wouldn't feed em more just because you play with him more. You do not want to cause him to be overweight. It is easier to put weight on then take it off.

There's no advantage to having a big Corn - it's not necessarily healthy.

I'd stick to your current regime so that you have a nice fit healthy Corn instead!

if you're still feeding 2 pinkies and you got them in october 2011, I'd say its about time they were on peach fuzzies.

Snake was born in october (23rd) 2011, and when I got them (december) i kept on feeding pinkies, moved up to peach fuzz, and right now they're on fuzzies. The fact you're still feeding them pinkies makes me wonder if they're a little underfed. (I sometimes thing Snake might be a little underweight because the backbone is so prominent)

Then again, all animals grow at different weights, and Snake did grow like a weed.
