Hi we think our snake is dpuble clutching, she hasn't eaten for 3 weeks and just shed 2 days ago, she is very active around the tank like last time. Also we lost 14 out of 16 eggs of last batch so some info pn incubation would be much appreciated thank u

How did you set up the first clutch? I saw your kinked baby (sorry). It's widely thought that higher incubation temps and wetter media cause kinks and pattern disturbances (which indicate the neural crest migration was affected) which I also noticed.

Your little guy should do fine, as long as he eats. Don't feel bad for wanting to keep him alive.

What were your incubation temps at? I usually keep mine just about 80 degrees. My current clutches are keeping steady at just over 81 degrees (ranging 81.3-81.5). It takes a little longer for incubation, but it is much safer from heat spikes that could caus ebabies to die, or end up with deformities.

Our temp was kept at 29-30c. We covered the eggs with moss, your possibly right nanci maybe the moss was too wet even tho we did ring it out. We have hot coco fibre for bottom of egg box this time incase she lays...i guess its just a waiting game now
