Visited my parents the other week and as usual popped out for a day at the zoo down the road while I was there. This time however I, ahem, "borrowed" my Dad's digital camera and had a play :)

Thought some folks might be interested in the results...

Got to get myself one of those newfangled digital camera thingummybobs, lol.

Its a redtailed racer. They actually have a couple of boomslangs but they were mostly disguised as tree branches and I couldn't get a decent pic, lol.

And yeah, its a hard life being a Komodo dragon, teehee :)

The dragon looks as stuffed as that snake that swallowed the kangaroo! :D

Those are great pictures. Those gaboons are simply amazing to see. Absolutely beautiful....and HUGE!

nice pics :D
i like the red tailed ratsnake and gabon viper and the iguana looking thing(sailfin dragon?)

Which zoo was that at StubbyUK?

I've got some pics of a couple of snakes from Blackpool zoo but it's the only 1 i've been to (a few time's though).

Blackpool has some great snakes, including both green and yellow anaconda, as well as pit and diamondback vipers. They also have more common snake's like reticulated pythn's, gtp, gtb, bcc and bci, and of course the absolutley beutifull corn snake i hear so much about  .

That was Chester Zoo which has a great reptile house. Went to London Zoo last week and they've got loads of excellent reptiles, especially snakes. When I've got myself my own whizzy digital camera I'm gonna go back and take some pics...

I'm actually (slowly) working on a website that will have some info on what reptiles you can see where in the UK. I'm hoping people might find it useful/interesting. The only prob is finding out what's at which UK Zoos, but I'm working on it :)

I've got info on blackpool zoo and some pic's to go with it (not many but a few), if you want them let me know :) .

thats a cool pic of the sailfin, they are sweet!!! i had one for 2 months but i fearded for my waterdragons life!!so i sold him for a great price!

I didn't even know there was a zoo in Blackpool, we only went to Pleasure Beach, and didn't even go on the Pepsi Max.....

It's about a half hour bus journey from near the tower, it's right next door to stanley park (they share the lake), so you go to the zoo then on to the park for a razz around on the boats :grin01: , or a romantic boat trip on the rowing boat's :awcrap: , but i'm single so they didn't appeal to me.
