ok, this might be a dumb question, but I see a lot of you put 0.1 or 1.1 and stuff like that in front of your snakes. now my best guess is that it means how many snakes you have and if they are male or female.

if I'm right about that, is the left or right number the female?
 
You would be 100% correct.

1.0.0 Would be 1 male
0.1.0 Would be 1 female
0.0.1 Would be 1 unknown sex

So 1.1.1 Would be one 1 boy, 1 girl and 1 unknown sex.
