E-corns eggs hatching live on cam!

Just watched a stripe come halfway out. A lot of tongue flicking and yawning was involved. Looks like "he" needs a rest now.

Thanks. This is the best thing ever!

Fully hatched now. Saw the tail emerge. According to the Facebook page this was pippie 10. I'm no good at morphs but looks like a lighter stripe to me. So totally adorable!

Argh, I didn't get any email notifications for this thread!

To answer questions, I just take them out when I happen to see them. 12 of them are in boxes by now, 3 still need to come out of their eggs.

So far I have (unsexed):

1 normal
3 normal stripes (or tessera stripes)
1 normal tessera
1 anery
4 anery stripes (or anery stripe tesseras)
2 anery tesseras

I think it's safe to say that some of the stripes are in fact tessera stripes, but I'll have to do some careful examining of their patterns and such to see which are which. I'll do that after their first shed though.

The final count is in!

1 normal
3 normal stripes (or tessera stripes)
1 normal tessera
2 anery
5 anery stripes (or anery stripe tesseras)
3 anery tesseras

Not displeased with the odds in this clutch, and the snakes themselves are absolutely gorgeous in my eyes. Some examples:

... and the new morph I found, the Goldflake:

The next clutch is under the cam now... That breeding is:

Amel x Bloodred het Amel Charcoal Hypo Stripe phet Anery Lavender

I mainly want to test my amel for any possible hets with this clutch, but am expecting only normals and amels. Guess we'll see once they start to hatch. Should be any day now, they're on 61 days :)

The second clutch is now hatching, and it looks like the first pipper might already be a surprise! Will have to wait until it shows more of itself to be sure, though...

Yay!

All eggs have hatched now! No surprises in the second clutch unfortunately, just normals and amels with a lot of poss hets.

The first two hatchlings from the first clutch had their first shed, and their first meal as well! Two out of two is not a bad start :)

This is number 2:
