Any one know how long a corn snake carries eggs internally...at what point are they considered egg bound?
 
to expand on my question, if you know the breeding date, at what point are the eggs considered "bound"?
 
Has she had her prelay shed yet? Several snakes on here have gone well past the average 10 days after shed this year. I had a female go 16 days after shed. She finally laid in a 2nd box I put in there on the other side. I was getting a bit worried.

I tried the method he used on our big snow girl when she became egg bound after laying about 1/2 of her clutch. If that doesn't work, a vet visit is a must - or you stand a chance of losing the female.

If she hasn't had a pre-lay shed though, I'd wait until she does.
