Hello so I am a complete noobie to snakes. Had actually never held one till I bought my female 1 1/2 old about three weeks ago from a local pet store. Went in just for fun was going to surprise my bf and get him one and ended up buying her for myself. So I had some questions I am feeding her two mice every 8 days and am not sure if that is to much or how to go about figuring it out. Fed her twice and both times she ate both mice with no issues. Also she has a scratch on one of her sides not sure if its something to worry about or if it will go away it does not seem to be getting worse but not sure if its serious. Also anyone who could tell me what morph she is would be appreciated!

Hi and welcome. I am still learning myself about morph's etc so can't advise what your's is just yet... but let me give you a piece of helpful advice. Read the threads with "Sticky" in front of them under all the sections of the forum.. particularly the areas "Husbandry and Basic Care" AND "Health and Behavor" those sticky threads are very helpful. And use the search function to your hearts content. You will learn a lot that way. That's what helped me.

Beautiful baby you have there

You might run a search for the "Munson Plan" it is a guide to what and when to feed your snake based on the weight of the snake and the prey item. It is however, just a guide and it may be best to tweak it depending on your individual snake. I don't personally follow it myself but I feel confidant enough that I know my snakes and what they each seem to need and be able to handle to wing it. If you aren't, the Munson plan is a good place to start until you feel confidant enough to tweak it yourself. One note on that guide, it is based more for snakes that are breeding, therefore using more resources, so feeding a bit less to a non breeding snake could be a good idea.
I would say your snake would qualify as a Reverse Okeetee, which is genetically an Amel but selectively bred for those wide white bands around the saddles. Very pretty snake! Congrats and welcome to your new addiction!
