This was my first design--easy to access and clean--but took up way to much space.

I got it from a reptile shop that was remodeling - I have another one coming - the problem is I can't get all the tanks at once - I just added the five tanks in drawer 2 :D - still need the three tanks for drawer 3 and two tanks for drawer 4 then I can get the other unit and start all over :D - here is a pic with the new (used) tanks in it...............PS DARIN CHAPPELL, the creamsicle has the penthouse suite ... LOL

I wish I could find something like that, because I know I'm gonna get more snakes!! I have my 2 cornbabies in rubbermaid containers...and I'm already going to have to find something else more escape proof!! My albino baby (still havent named her yet) has escaped TWICE through the sides somehow and the tops were closed. The first time I found her under a shoe and the second I saw her coming down the stairs!!! She about gave me a heart attack!!! I thought she was lost forever!:p

I went out tonight and and bought tupperware containers, the lids seal better.

Here's one of mine...

We went for the individual approach, which we really like, but now our 'collection' is growing, we're going for converting our living room shelves into a cornsnake apartment block!

Thanks!!!!

Hey Richard, thanks for the compliment!

I used to work in a medical company, and that tank was used to collect distilled water from the stills. We replaced it with a much larger one, and they were going to chuck it out :( so I rescued it:). (I've spent 4 years trying to get my hands on the larger one as well!!!). You can buy them from laboratory glassware catalogs, but they are very, very, expensive.

Only problem with this setup is that it is difficult to clean - everything has to be done one-handed through the largest opening, and my short arms only just reach right to the back!

The other problem is the space it takes up - if our collection grows (which it inevitably will), we won't have space to keep a lot of strange enclosures, even if I can get my hands on them.

I guess I need a big house and lots of money... ;)

I must say, though, some of the other designs people have posted look great, and most are practical as well!

Brig.:)
