ok my black rat snake escaped :headbang: . i have accepted the fact that il likely never see her again, but just wondering if anybody had any tips for finding her? like traps and whatnot....

Blue painters tape!!! Along the walls. In ribbons/coils.

You can put a few thawed mice out on paper plates in select locations around the home.
To see where he/she might be.

Just a few suggestions
 
I lost my snake for 8 months and gave him up for dead! But we found him alive and well. Never give up. Roll the tape so that the sticky sides is always out and put it behind bookcases and behind furniture. Wherever your snake might like to go. We also lost two of our hatchlings this season and found one two weeks after he was lost and the other 4 days later. Keep water out where he might find it and drink. :) good luck!
 
my very first corn i had got out like 12 years ago when i was a kid.he slowly made his way to the neighbors house and 6 months later she stumbled across him while she was cleaning..she had called her son to come kill it but he took it to our local pet shop since he thought it was kinda strange and rare to see a "wild" albino.. the pet shop ended up sellin it. dont give up and just listen to the advice everyones given on here so hes got access to food and water
