Exercise support group?

Thanks for bumping this thread! My life is so intensely busy and working out always drops off the list first (notice eating ice cream while reading cornsnakes.com never drops off the list). My plan is to do a workout with my Wii game, "EA Active" 4-5 times a week. Even if it's only 10 minutes it's SOMETHING.

Absolutely, Jessica. Ten minutes is a great place to start. I'd prefer to eat ice cream than almost any other activity. Maybe it burns calories because it's so cold and your body has to warm it up...right? :D

Josie, you have an iPhone, right? Have you looked at the app RunKeeper? It's great for tracking mileage for walking, too. Like I just figured out my walk from the parking ramp is > half a mile each way.

Well it's not by choice! WE got booted out of the "close" parking ramp (and by close I mean just not as far away) and sent off to the end of the universe. I've been on a waiting list for the close ramp for six or eight years. Of course it costs $900/year, but I'll worry about that if the time ever comes.

Maybe that's one of the reasons you seem to have so much energy, Nanci. I'm convinced that sitting at my desk all day is enervating.

Nope, never heard of it but I will look for it. Is it a free App?

Nanci, I found it! I am downloading as we speak. This will really come in handy! Thanks for telling me about it.

My workout partner cancled for tonight so I think I may go to the walking track and just walk tonight, gym workout tomorrow night.
