Hehe : ) well they kinda grow out after time :/ and he is doing Great, yea you missed them, they were in a thread called "james says hello" or something like that..

George.

oh, I'll look for that thread. I had no idea that they actually grow out! Do you think the belly button rings do to? My daughter just got hers done last year.

If professionally pierced and properly taken care of the likes of eye brow and belly piercings don't just "grow out". Unless your body is rejecting the jewellery, in which case its stupid to keep re-piercing it.

George--

If you'r piercings "grew out", take the new one out of your eyebrow. The only way for that to happen is through the body rejecting the piercing, and forcing the jewelry out...and it can lead to massive infection. Best to remove the new one, and forget about it.

I dont worry too much, it does take about 2 years to grow out, and the reason i was given by the piercer was because my skin is still growing..!

Meh i donno, but i like it anyways :p

The piercier is likely to say it's because you eat too much green jelly if it means you'll keep coming back with your money :grin01:

The piercing looks nice, but I wasn't aware that they grew out either, even at your age... I used to know a lad with an eyebrow piercing and as far as I'm aware he never had it done over and over :shrugs: Hmm. Interesting subject. I feel almost compelled to do some research. :grin01:

Did you stop using eating utensils at the table too? :grin01:

That's the line I use when people I know (especially my 19-year old sister) get piercings or tattoos. It's supposed to allude to barbarism. But I don't really feel that way; it's all in fun. :) I don't have any because I'm allergic to pain.

George, that photo is terrible. And I'm not talking about the quality. There's just something about it that creeps me out. :awcrap:

hehe yea :p i was tempted to get a digital camera with my birthday cash, instead of the "other option" A Leo, because my web cam does take great pics but then when i edit them they go all blurry :/

It could reject for so many reasons, but since you're still only young then that may be the main cause, you are still growing and well like I say, that's more than likely it.

If this one does, I'd wait til you're done growing then try again but if its rejecting for any other reason, switch to a bioplast/PTFE bar, it helps to stop with rejection. Fin out what it was originally pierced with, a lot of places use titanium as their initial piercing jewellry but if its stainless steel some people find that can reject. Stick with titanium and if it still starts rejecting, go for the bioplast/PTFE and that should save it.

wait wait wait youve got it pierced like 4 times and it doesnt grow in for 2 years that means the first time you got it done you were what 6?

Naa, I got it done when i was 12 well, 13, on my 13th birthday, and it can take about 2 years, i generally took most out because my school hated it and i had to remove it before school and put it back in afterschool, witch i hat to "pop" a layer of skin each day, witch hurt, but last few times, its taken a few month and i started to see it growing out, so i removed it, my sisters took 2 years to fully fall out, and she woke up one day with it out, but my auntys took about 4 years to grow out.. you find it generally does grow out if your still in your early teens when you get it done, but hey I love getting it done, so i'm not complaining lol

Thanks ill look into one of them bars : )

I've heard that about eyebrow piercings- that your body eventually rejects it and forces it out.

Nanci

That is a totally creepy picture.

George I think it's the eye. It looks weird with just black and white, it's just the atmosphere of the photo. :grin01: (Yes a photo can have atmosphere, if not I'm making it have it.) Try taking another one without your eye blooped down. (sorry don't know what to call that)
