Well, I suppose their isn't much of a difference.
I think what it does add, is more of a directory to seeing others snakes. On here, my photos quickly become lost in the shuffle, so posting them on FB adds a sort of catalog, and people can easily work through my albums to more quickly see all of my photos. And on top of that, I don't have to use photobucket to post my images, I can just directly load them from a folder, so it makes it a bit easier/quicker to upload multiple images. I like to keep my FB profile particular too, so it's relatively organized.
The drawback of FB is the lack of moderation. I've had some trouble with certain people that I don't personally know, that I've met through musical group sources. Ex. I have many people on my FB friends list that added me from a fan page for the group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Many of the people that shared in this group page were positive, and we were all able to provide detailed critiques/opinions on new and old music. Well, due to me sharing my opinions, I was able to meet a lot of really great people of like minded interests (not too different than here). But because I don't personally know these people, and haven't built certain connections that I have here, I have been surprised on multiple occasions by some of the content that my "friends" are posting, and have had to drop numerous people as a result.
Just last night I had some random person (who must have sent me a FR at some point) hit me up in chat. It started off awkwardly, so I quickly said that I wasn't sure where this person was coming from, and that I'd appreciate this person refraining from using choice words when chatting with me... well, this caused the person to absolutely lose it, and rambled on with slurs, swears and threats, until I finally deleted him. I saved the chat first, just in case there is a way to report this person, but it really made me appreciate how civil it is here (for the most part), and even when people disagree, it never turns into that.
So, in this regard, I would much rather have the comfort of being a part of the CS.com community, rather than the FB community!
