Feed during shed?

Do you guys attempt to feed your snakes during shed? I just wait until after they shed, but I have heard both ways.

It depends on the snake. Some people say you should not do it.

I've had Boas, Kingsnakes, and Corn Snakes and never had any problems.

The snake can live a long time without food so if there is any doubt, there's certainly no harm in putting off a feeding or two.

My snake will sometimes refuse food during shed, but if he's hungry and willing to take it, then I go ahead and feed.

I would just use small meals. No sense making the shed process any more difficult for the snake if you put a large bulge in it's belly.

I've done this a few times on accident...my snow stripe is hard to tell when she is in shed so I've fed her and the next day found a fresh shed in her viv....it's not something I knowingly do...
