Feeding a gravid female

Well I am a first time breeder and I got to witness my snakes mate last Friday. I thought I'd feed my female again since I read they feed ravinously while gravid. She previously ate two juveniles three days prior. By the time she was done on Friday, she had eaten one adult, two juveniles, and 11 fuzzies. ELEVEN! Is that too much, or do I just feed her until she's full?

First, I'm going to assume you are just feeding smaller food items to get rid of them, and second I'm going to assume your female is an adult. Even as an adult female that is gravid, that is over-feeding. I am also assuming you did not brumate your corns, as you have not mentioned it. If it is the case that you have not brumated your snakey, just keep her on the feeding schedule you would normally do. She got enough nutrition durring that "extra" two/three months of not brumating. If you did brumate, then you should be feeding one appropriate-sized mouse to your corn twice a week (wed. and sat. for example). Now that I have sufficiently confused you.... LOL Basically, no brumation=normal feeding schedule, brumation=twice a week feedings. Hopefully this helps a little.

Hmmmm

The Corn Snake Manual said that gravid females eat ravinously. That's the only reason why I let me lady eat until she was full. Maybe I misinterpreted.

I can understand where you came from, but if humans ate until they were filled to capacity every time, then we'd have an obesity epidemic. Wait...... Anyways, just feed her twice as often throughout the week. That will give her all the extra nutrition she needs.
