i posted this in another area but i was looking for more of a response so i am reposting here...... so... i have had my ultramel for like 3 days.... i feed him yesterday and i was expecting him to just go hide after he had eaten to let the food digest... not my snake he cruised around the tank all night and the all day today... every now and then he will curl up and sleep... my other hatchling ate and dissapered... so my question is with my ultramel i am figuring i might have to feed him twice a week? looking at him now the next day you cant even reallly tell he has eatin the lump in his body is almost gone..... just looking for your advice on feeding little guys twice a week... thanks all
 
i feed my two corn hatchlings every 5 days...sometimes they'll get food twice a week(i.e. if they were fed on sunday they'll eat on friday or if they ate on monday they'll eat again on saturday) but most of the time it just once.
 
We feed all of our hatchlings every five days, and our adults every 7-10. Corns seem to go into a food mode for a while after they eat, and it doesnt sound uncommon that he wants to keep eating..

ok so if i am going to feed him two at a time is there a time period i wait befor offering the second pinky?
 
I offer the second pink as soon as the first one has been swallowed. I feed my snakes in covered containers, so I keep an eye on how the first mouse is going, and drop in the second when the first is nearly gone (feet sticking out).
