My new Corn Snake is going to live in my classroom for much of the year. She will come home with me over breaks (she will spend Christmas with a coworker who keeps Ball Pythons, since I won't have my own place for Christmas) but mainly, she's going to live in my classroom.
When she is older, I'd like for my students to be able to handle her in supervised situations and small groups (2-3 students). They are HS students, 14 and older. I know you are not supposed to hold them when they have just fed- I've been told to give it a few days for them to digest.
Is there anything wrong with feeding her on a Friday, and allowing her to digest over the weekend, so that we can have 3-4 days to handle her during the week?
