I completely forgot to mention that i finally saw my snake eat for the first time. I got it a little over 2 weeks ago and it had eaten 2 pinkies since i had got him all ready but i hadnt seen those. This time i put the pinky in(I didnt put it in a separate container to eat I actually put the pinky right in his rock hide) and he struck it a few times to spin him headfirst and when the pinky was facing him he struck it and had it in his mouth and swallowed it in record time. It was great to watch. The best part was this was actually the most calm he has been since i got him. He has been pretty feisty and defensive even though i gave him a long adjusting period, but after this feeding he seemed more comfortable. Just had to mention this cause second to handling the snakes i think watching them eat has gotta be the best. Im making sure not to handle him before 48 hours which will be tonight and i cant wait to see how he takes it.
