Female laid today.....not good, help!!!

My female snake laid eggs today and i didnt even expect it. My other female laid 62 days ago and they were both with the male around the same time. The eggs are golden brown and very hard. They are clearly not any good. I was just wondering if someone could tell me what went wrong??? Any ideas?Thanks
 
I think it is likely that nothing "went wrong". It sounds like the female that laid eggs today ovulated about 2 months later than the other female. If the male wasn't with her 30-40 days ago, then the female just laid unfertilized slugs. :)
