Fertile eggs or slugs?

Hi everyone, we are new to this, but our female 3ish year old corn has laid eggs 2 times this year, with every egg looking like the picture..We were told they are infertile by a couple of friends doing online research, but now are not so sure. What do you think??

Looks like a slug to me, way too yellow.

Sorry to hear she completely slugged out - at least it sounded that way from your post.
 
Yeah, in late april she laid 17 looked the exact same, then just a couple of days ago, she laid 6 more. maybe next year!
 
Agreed - that's a textbook slug I'm afraid. Mr Murphy does seem to be playing some evil tricks this year.
 
Are we doing something wrong for her to just be laying slugs? this is the first year she has ever laid eggs.. she lives with a male, until we found this forum and another, we had never heard they shouldn't be housed together...but the male is almost 3 also, so just not sure what we could be doing to have her get fertilized eggs.

no, we haven't actually witnessed anything. we actually have three, and we had them probed and were told 2 were male and 1 was female. the female (the one they said was female) is the oldest, about 3 years and 2 months, the other two (that we were told were male) are just under 3 years old. We are confused! had no idea what to look for or anything, thought they wouldn't breed for another year or two still. but no, we haven't seen one chasing the other or anything like that. Anybody know of any ways to check sex that can help us out here?
 
You can try and look for a local petstore that sells reptiles. They usually have people there that can help you probe them or take them to a vet that specialize in reptiles. Some females are just infertile; kinda like human.
