I wish I could take pics like Joe and Katie. I apologize for the poor photography. After getting back on my feet now I went and picked up the Northern Pine today. Here are a few pics one bad, one not so good. Need to go to PETCO this evening to pick up a hide. I'll let Lisa take some pics, she has a touch.

Oh ya, I had to move the Eastern King to a smaller tank so I gave her a treat today.

I had held her several times...

Lovely! Does she huff and hiss and bluff?

Victoria told me she had become nasty and mean. I just reached down, picked her up and placed her in the bag. Not a peep out of her.

Thanks pup. She is my third N. Pine. I've had 5 or 6 Florida Pines (still my fav). But today it begins. I'm sure a Black and a Louisiana are next.

TM she is over five ft. They were feeding her six mice every other week. I'll give her a day or two to acclimate then start her on rat pups (not Trickster:grin01:)

Wow, that's a big girl!!! She's gorgeous! You should have sent the king up here for dinner- I'm sure there are going to be some refusals tonight, and Jake's blue...

Well, what a downer...

We went to PETCO this evening to purchase a hide for the Pine but evidently the black, plastic hides are going the way of the Dodo.
They were moving the Corns to a different cage. Into the Mexican Black King's cage. The lad was afraid of both species and I moved them for him. There were some nice little corns and I made a statement, jokingly about my friend Bob (the manager) giving me a discount. The employees' smiles turned upside down. They informed me Bob died a few days ago. He was a good man and manager. Didn't know about animals; was hired to run the business end. He was great with people. He asked my advice many times.
They haven't told the employees why he died.
As much as I whack PETCO, Bob was a good guy. He will be missed.

Beautiful! She looks like my Mercedes. We almost bought a Bl. Pine at the show Saturday. But we went with a Ball. Here is a pic of Mercedes:

A cutie debb....

I see why Virginia (not Victoria:shrugs:) thought she was mean. She is just tenacious when it comes to feeding. I got her a rat tonight.
She smelled it directly and you could see in her face, thanks man, I don't want no stinkin mice. This rat will do just fine.
She lunged out of the aquarium and took it from me. Then every little movement was met with a hiss and a tail vibration. The dog got to close and received a strike. I need to get a good hide so she can eat in privacy.

Once I feel her out to see how far I can go while she eats I'll get some pics.

Um, they were putting corns in a Mexican kingsnakes' cage. I'm hoping there was no kingsnake in there at the time? Wouldn't put it past them, but I figured you wouldn't help them do that.....Nice pine by the way!
