FINALLY getting the SO interested!

Digger, RN
I have been trying for YEARS to get the old man interested in the snakes. For the most part, he humored me until this year. He saw so many babies, and it really fed into the excitement. Apparently that was enough to drive him over the edge and he finally has his own little girl.

The story is actually one of those warming home comings. This was a hatchling that was sold in a bulk lot to someone who just wanted to resell them. After going through 3 owners, she finally comes home. :) She's a kind hearted 3 year old little anery (het coral snow motley/stripe) named Delilah. Her name was taken from the biblical origination, since she just will NOT stay out of his hair. Boyfriend loves her, so I'm thrilled. He wanted to breed her, so I have paired her with my Helios, & though it is late in the season they hooked up in seconds! Stay tuned for clutch updates as well. Looks like I'll have some year-round babies :)

Congratulations! What is Helios? Sounds like Delilah deserves a fancy boyfriend for herself someday! Nice hets!!

That's cool. Nice hets. I'm glad the S.O. finally caught the bug. :)

A late August hook-up, eh? I'm not in the mood to fool around with any more hatchlings this year (still got a bunch), but I might mess around with some off-season breeding next year.

Thanks guys! As far as morphs go, she isn't anything to call home about, but she is a doll. And its always nice to see how my babies have grown up. I guess I don't mind late summer hook ups. I only put out 115 eggs this season, so I'm not totally swamped. Plus I always love babies!

Helios is my Amel Banded Motely boy. He has been a stud this year with the ladies. Its his first year, and the boy has successfully nailed 5 beautiful 14+ egg clutches, and at only 180g. Anyways, here's the stud himself. :)

Wow, I almost named my sunglow, Tabasco, Helios! Good name for an amel. Glad to see you getting the SO involved. Now, if only my wife would get on board!

Thanks! He's a dear. You can see some of his babies in the other thread I posted today. He passes that banding on pretty well, even when paired to a normal patterend female. Can't say I'm disappointed!

Wow, Helios is gorgeous! For sure you ought to have some cool motley babies. Let's run it through the Progeny Predictor:

25% Amel mots/poss het anery
25% Amel stripe mots/poss het anery
25% Normal mots/het for snow or amel
25% Normal stripe mots/het for amel or snow
