Special thanks to Michelle ( AliCat37 ) :) my very first corn snake arrived today, he is awesome but my photography skills suck.

I grabbed a quick photo when I put him in the viv, he went for the tissue box, then the bowl and then over to the log so really didn't have time to grab a good one as I was putting the lid on.

yes it is really really blurry but after being shipped across country I didn't want to stress him out further, will get more pics as he settles.

Meet Thane ( Formerly known as Lazarus )

Yay!! He'll take a few days but he is just a great guy.

he is out and about looking all over..I am most definitely going to get a bigger viv for him, he certainly likes to stretch out lol. He's already knocked over the one decoration I got for him so going to need to figure out how to get his hammock and vines hooked up in there too. yes he is gonna be so spoiled :D

It's _so_ hard to sell an adult- we get so attached to them! I'm glad he has such a wonderful home with you!!

I can imagine :( not sure if I could sell an adult.. here for a few hours and already can't imagine him not being in the room.

Already have my eye on another one lol

I have 46 snakes in my living room/kitchen. I can't imagine them not being there! I've managed to sell...two adults who were too cranky for me. One pair that were replaced with upgrades. One pair from a project I quit. A few non-corns.

It was a very, very hard choice for me to sell him. I am just so glad that he found such a great home!!

Well he is exploring again I stuck some vines n branches in there, here he is trying to figure out how to get out, he did find the corner where most of the cords are coming into the tank.

Adults are a little different than babies. I think, if you're dying to handle him, it would be okay, unless his previous mom says no.

yeah he was tongue flicking me earlier when I changed his cool hide and fluffed up his bedding, i wanted to make sure he was settling in ok, planned on handling him on Sunday, it is when I do tank cleanings etc for the frog and will do his on same day. Makes trash day easier if I do them all on the same day.

He is turning into a camera ham , lol waited for me to take several pictures before moving, just wish I had better camera and lighting
