I haven't been as active on here as usual, because I like to use a PC keyboard to input lots of text, and my computer has only recently been unpacked. Soon I'll be able to use it again and I'll give a better, more complete update.

The biggest and most exciting news is that I am 99% sure Zelda is gravid!!! She and Link had a confirmed lock on Feb. 25. She was exposed to him two more times every 5 days for 24 hours each time, no activity seen and no evidence of mating either time after the first.

So I had been worried maybe one time wasn't enough? I have been feeding her well, and she has gained 32 grams in the last month. She looks.... Lumpy. I can't easily upload pics but that's the best I can describe it. Also her spine is rather prominent but she is not thin. If that makes sense?

We have a DIY incubator almost finished, I will share that as well when complete!

Anyway, just wanted to share my big news with people who care LOL hard to get a positive reaction from most folks .....

Sounds like she's gravid! I have some stickies down in my personal forum about how to prepare a lay box, etc. Don't forget to remove her large water bowl!!!

Yes, I took away the big water bowl and set a small one next to her nest box. I put some moist Sphagnum moss inside a flat rectangular shaped Tupperware with a hole in the lid and she's been inside it since she found it LOL now just have to hurry up and wait for her to shed and lay those eggs! Fingers crossed for fertile eggs!

She is a dilute anery motley, unknown hets, and I mated her with an anery motley het dilute and het amel. Hoping for blue motleys and anery motleys, and with amel being such a common het I am secretly hoping for someamel motley snows to pop up as well if she were to prove out het amel....

Congratulations, it's a boy!

And another boy!

And a girl!

Wait...... there's more.......

You're gonna need a big box of cigars

She's in deep blue today, I'm expecting her to shed any day now!! And then eggs in another week or two! This is such a practice in patience LOL the worst part is after the eggs are finally laid, it will still be another 8 weeks until hatchlings!!!!!!
