Hi everybody. I have been having a look at the forum and it seems great. So much info & great pics.
I have a 10 month old snow corn. I was a bit hesitant about having a snake in the first place, but I have to say that I am enjoying him(?) much more than my husband now. I didn't realize how much of a companion they can be. It has been a great learning experience. I am reading everything I can get my hands on about snakes.
We also have 2 dogs and everyone seems to get along well.
I've posted some baby pics. Stewie's much bigger now, about 21 inches. I need to take some current pics.
I could go on forever about him, but I just wanted to introduce Stewie to the forum.

I just got my first corn snake as well, however mine is simply an albino, but your Stewie is very handsome. :) I have a question for you, though: I know that ages & lengths are debatable depending upon shedding & feeding, but you mentioned that Stewie is 10 months old & 21". How long/old was Stewie when you got him? Maizie is 16" and I'm trying to pinpoint an approx age for her, partly for my students' curiosity, but a lot for my own, as well. :)

Stewie was about 12 inches and a couple of weeks old when we got him in Oct"05. We fed him every week for the first few months and he shed every 4-5 weeks. My guess is Maizie would be anywhere from 6-8 months.
I saw Maizie's pic & she is very beautiful. Good luck. They are wonderful pets.
