Florida GTG

ArpeggioAngel

Around Here Somewhere....
Chris (CMLReptiles) stopped over yesterday with his wife and we got on the discussion of another Florida GTG. Craig had posted recently about his trip to Withalacoochee (spelling?). That might make a great road trip/field trip for us to check out?

We also are still up in the air as to a date for another GTG to the Serpentarium? Other than the show on the 22nd - I am free any weekend.

I can get free almost any sunday, but no saturdays.

BTW, it was great seeing you guys again...and man, what great animals! makes me a little upset about having to sell so many.

PJ and I are free and that sounds awesome. But the problem seems to lie in the fact that we are 1500 miles away. :sidestep:
Jay & PJ

I switched to Mondays off, but I can change the schedule back to Sunday off. One of the perks of being the boss... :grin01:

You guys can come over and visit any time, two of the three pairings bred... I think they were showing off... :grin01:

Sounds great!

We need to try to get it in soon if you want any road cruising. Gets sparse in May unless it is a rainy May. As far as herpin, morning and early evening are the best. I like just driving around the forest during the hotter parts of the day. We have seen many different creatures. Recently I saw the rare (but pretty) spotted skunk.
Next weekend Lisa is heading out with a friend for baby shopping. I believe it is Saturday but I'll check.

BTW, did I mention the sex of the baby? :grin01:

Didn't realize there was a show...

Could work to our advantage. Show during the day, afternoon/evening herping.
Where is the show? Fairgrounds?

USF Sundome. How could you have missed that whole discussion about the right/wrongness of two competing shows?

I did read the debate...

but never really got the local. I gather there are shows almost on a monthly basis on the West side of Floriduh.

And BTW (thanx for asking Mike), the next great Florida herpetologist is daddy's little girl. :)

Congratulations! Girls make the best herpers!

The Sundome is going to be the trial run for my GPS- it'll be the first place I'm going where I don't already know where I'm going. I'm excited!

I have one in my work vehicle. It does get annoying sometimes if you have the talking version. Once you get in town I mean. Turn left, 300ft turn right 100ft and vear left 50ft to off ramp enter ramp... SHUT UP! :grin01:

Big Congrats Craig to you and Lisa!!! Work on any names yet?

Show on 21st-22nd is at the Sundome. I would be all for a road trip afterwards based on what anyone else is up for. I am not much of a morning person so prior to the show probably wouldn't work for me at least.
