Florida....Here I come!!

I am so excited!!! I put in a transfer with my work months ago to move to Florida...Our house sold in April and we have been staying with family in the mean time. Yesterday a regional manager from Florida called and offered me a sweet job in the perfect location!! (Palm Beach) which is only 15 minutes from where we have chosen a house. I am so ecstatic!!! Now my snake hobby can really take off....hee hee. I will be starting August 20th but we will move down end of July. Just wanted to share my news, now I can come to some of these great reptile shows I hear about (and finally meet Kathy Love in person!)

Cool! Do you mean West Palm Beach? I hope you'll at least be able to make it to the Tampa shows. Are you going to Daytona now???

Congrats!

Wow - talk about timing! It might be pretty hairy, just starting a new job and moving, BUT-you HAVE to come to Daytona, at least for a day, on the weekend of Aug 22 - 24. It should only be about a 2 - 3 hour drive for you (it is about 5 hours for me, depending on how badly I-4 is torn up around Orlando on any particular day).

Thanks everyone!! I definitely am going to try my best to go to Daytona....what a dream!! My job is actually in Palm Beach Gardens (a bit North of West Palm Beach), and we will be living in Hobe Sound (Martin County). The Midwest show here in Indy is probably nothing compared to shows in Florida. I will see you all there!!
