Friday the 13th CME possible

Wow... I had no issues.. Those flares are a little scary... We take the sun for granted, I think sometimes we forget it's a big ball of gas with non stop nuclear reactions..
 
This isn't a "had" issue yet. If there is actually a CME involved, it won't arrive on Earth till this Friday.

There is always the potential for damage from these things. If you get a chance, look up the "Carrington event". Pretty interesting stuff.
 
Maybe, maybe not. Apparently the satellites that are orbiting the sun haven't been able to tell anyone whether or not a CME is heading towards Earth right now. Makes you wonder what exactly those satellites orbiting the sun are looking for if not this sort of thing..... :crazy01:
 
hahahahahaha having a conspiracy theory are we? I always assumed satelites were to spy on us, gps, tv etc... ;)
