So we got great new purchases and they are on quarentine *see Laurens post for pics http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99602 * and we also got our new AP plastics cage.
Well we got 4 of the tubs in advance...but the other 5 we needed were unavailable at the time. So we went today to 4 different Walmarts and never found them.
Then I come home and find out...ONCE again, the tubs were discontinued.
TELL me this great people of knowledge...WHY OH WHY must these darned companies keep changing their stupid tubs size by half inches....WHY???!?!!?!?
So we did find a slightly shorter one that fits....and only leaves a VERY small gap which works for the adult corns, but not the babies we planned on using.

I hate rubbermaid. I hate sterilite. i hate them all! :madeuce::devil01:

I'm sorry...I always order bins before I order racks, because I am so afraid of this.

That is what we will be doing from now on, because this is the 2nd time this has happened to us. Luckily we were able to obtain the correct tub sizes for the other rack, but they have been discontinued too.

Did you try them with the lids on? I know it kind of defeats the purpose of a rack, but it works. I'm housing '09s in my AP rack using this method. I have the economy rack with the new latching 15qt tubs...they fit really snug. I should be able to take the lids off when they reach 100ish grams.

We could try that except the freaking Target did not have the right lids. Ack! We have it worked out for now... just moved some adult males into those tubs.

The tubs we actually need are the Sterilite 1846 tubs.

Have you tried looking for the tubs on-line? I buy mine on-line. Maybe Target has some left in the warehouse.
