Fugly Brutus...

Tula_Montage

It's Jager time!
Poor wee man - he always looks so miserable in shed - with droopy face skin and stuff.

And he huffs and puffs like an old man. But thats ok, because he goes the most delightful chocolate colour - as oppoised to silver and pink and orange when hes not in bleh (Blue).

Hes a 3 year old Bolivian short tail boa ( B.c amarali) and weighs in at 1.5k :)

I like him better all pink and coral and shed! How many boas do you have now? I have lost track of all the beauties!

He does have a nice warm colour to him in shed huh :) I only have 1 Brutus, 2 corn isles, 1 baby Blythe (Candoia paulsoni tasmai) and 2 sunbeam snakes - apparently they are a boid but they can't decide if they are boas or pythons or neither!. Not many at all :( I used to have lots of BCI's though.... oh and kenyan sandie boas. I want more of them again soonish :)

Ohhh pretty! I love the color of his belly!

Thank you :) It really is aqua sometimes.

I was going to say the same thing... He's def. not fugly!! :)

Hes not fugly, but he acts it. He looks all sorry for myself and just shuffles up and down his big boxie all day. He shed a few days ago though and looks much better :) And he got his monthly ratatat so hes fat and happy. Dwarf boas are sooooooo low maintanence :dancer:

Must admit that I prefer seeing him when not in shed mode but, either way, I love seeing photos of this fella... he's so beautiful!
Looks great in the last photo.:)

Thanks Debb, I generally dislike snakes in shed anyways (the one exception being Lacey - she goes a beautiful shade of baby blue) but it is nice to see just how different a snake can look. Like I said, he doesn't look like the same snake!

Mmmmm... I want chocolate now.

By the way, something about the 4th picture (last one where he's in blue) REALLY scares me. I get the feeling that he was seriously considering taking a nip at the camera. :grin01:
