Full bands or partial?

Which do you prefer, full bands like the first one or just partial bands like the second. I've already bought the snakes and made my decision but now I'm not sure. I'd really like to hear your opinion.

I like the first one, but then to me it looks like 'just' an albino type of kingsnake. If I had the choice, I'd go for the second one's more aberrant pattern, faced with the two, that would be the 'buy me' snake!

No, I'm not saying which I bought. I bought a trio last night. I had to choose between full or partial bands. I appreciate your answers. Would like to hear more.

I prefer the first one - but only because the pattern is more even. If the second had those cool alf bands all the way down instead of some full and some partial, it would definitely be the winner for me.

Good call!.

Boy you guys are going both ways. I was hoping the opinions would be more unanimous or one sided. I'm kind of having buyers remorse.

If I had to choose, I would probably go with #2 quirky pattern and all. I would want to see if the pattern could be repeated and cover the length of the snake.

I'm partial to the fully-banded one. But I fully enjoyed looking at the partial-banded one.

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. I did the same thing with my cali king. Could have got one with perfect bands but I chose the abberant one. Whatever you choose you're alwasy going to look back and say "shoulda got the other one".

Thank you susang, That is the choice I made too. The male and both females I bought have patterns like picture number 2. They should be here next week if the cold weather will let up a bit, I post pics when I get them.

Do you ever buy a snake and then wonder if you should have bought something else? I've been very impulsive lately.

You're right checkerbelly. It seems to always work that way.

No but I had one given to me and she's a king/milk/corn/???. All I know is she is hell bent on tagging me.
Those are some beautiful snakes you're getting.

I choose the aberrant pattern!!!!! You can always find normals- aberrants are much more rare.

Did you get all albinos?

Yes they are all albinos. I already have some pin band hypo mels and am working on a trio of ghosts that I really like.

Thanks everyone for your opinions. Especially thank you to the ones that agree with me.
