Genuine Hunt Club Okeettee

Tom Tuttle

Fightin the C
This fellow was caught by my friend Mike Himchack at the Okeettee Hunt Club
14 years ago. The 2010 season will be his first attempt at breeding. Hope the old guy still has the desire.

He doesn't look that old to my admittedly inexperienced eye. And if male corn snakes are anything like male mammals, healthy older specimens tend to be perfectly capable. I hope he is, 'cause he sure is pretty!

Do you ahve a Hunt Club female to go with him? I saw two adult Hunt Club females on kingsnake.com a day or so ago. Scott John Reptiles (NC I believe) has some pure line Hunt Club animals also. It'd be great to carry on the locality line.

Thanks for sharing,
Graham

Ain't they pretty...People always expect a real okeetee to be all bling.. I have a female that is a direct decendant of the Hunt Club as well.. I got my girl from Meg F, and for some reason I believe the breeders that Meg had came from the same fellow you got your Gentlemen from.. However, I might wrong.

Regards... Tim of T and J

Thanks Tim! Mike is a very good friend of Linda & I. Linda's known him for 45+ years. This snake was caught on the hunt club property by Mike. There are no breeders involved.

Thanks Graham! I don't have a hunt club female for him. But I have some plans for him. I have a Dow Rd. N.C. wild caught long term captive lined up. I may breed him to one of my wild line lavas.

He looks pretty darned healthy, Tom (and just plain pretty too). I hope he performs admirably!

Thanks Dean! I hope he does well too.

There's many a fine tune played on an old fiddle! Hope he gets to make lots of babies this year!

Thanks J 9! I guess he better rosen up his bow!!

Oh, don't you just love J9!!

Definitely a very healthy looking animal! I have no doubts he's gonna be nice and fertile for ya.

Thanks Robbie!

I have a male I got from Meg. He's definately one of my favorites in my collection.

Meg produces some great looking ones!

Here's a pic of the Dow Rd. N.C. female with her clutch from 09
