Hi,
Congrats on your new addition.
I have three Beardies and love them. They are not that hard to care for as adults but more difficult as babies. I see that Nanci posted info, both those sites are good resources.
I think that tank should be fine for him. Get some driftwood or branches for climbing and also a Repti-Hammock (mine love theirs). A lot of BD people say you should have at least a 4'x2' floor space but if you take your beardie out for regular exercise that tank should not be a problem. My two larger ones are in 40 breeders (36"x18"x16") and my smaller female is in a 30 long (36"x12"x16").
Here are two of mine on their Hammocks:

Good luck and if you have any questions, just ask.

Beautiful boy! He's got some great color to him too. I'm glad he found a good home. Now he can actually move!! Kudos to you for making a better life for him!

He's so lucky! I give you a week till you love him more than anyone else! They love to climb- now all that boy needs is a big branch. And a hammock. I wonder if Isabel would like a hammock? Lisa- what size do you buy? Are you sure he's a male? What are you going to name him??

funny you say that i got a huge branche thing coming in the mail and a large Repti-Hammock in a few days along with some other toys.

i named him tank, they are to small of him ) : well the rock ablest in a week i order online wood, toys, hides all the good stuff but for a week he has that after i get the stuff in i will post photos in a week. 2morrow am going to get more heat lamps for him since i don't wanna wait a week for that. and will look at what corn snakes they got in.

He needs UVB, if you didn't know that. Like can't metabolise calcium without it. Either Reptisun 10 Fluorescent, (has to be that brand, not any other) or any MVB bulb, or T-Rex Active UV. All the compact fluorescents are junk. You can even take an 18" bulb and sit it diagonally across the viv so you don't have to buy a full-length one.

ok well i have to get one of them i look it up make sure i get the right thing and everything if you have a link or photo of is something perfect for him that would be Awsome that you so much nanci for your help! i be lost with out you. and everyone else ( :
