Going to Try Breeding Mice Again

CaptBogart

False Prophet
Ok, so I've been raising and breeding ASF's for awhile and want to try mice again, which I gave up on a long time ago due to issues. This time I thought I would try using a colony not made up of pet store feeders. To start, I picked up this 1.2 of Velvet Coats het Hairless at the last reptile show...

The male is the beige one with red eyes... just freaky... I like 'em :D

I had rats for a while and they were more than easy to breed. You should have no problems. Good luck!

I like the male... I have a similar Male but he is more silver in color with red eyes.... Good luck and keep us up to date

They certainly didn't waste any time, did they??

Good luck with those Joe, hope your "issues" don't repeat themselves.

Not at all, breeding like.... rabbits.... lol.

Well I figured how to accomplish natural selection. I leave the peanut shells in the tank and whenever I see a pinky stumbling around with its head stuck in one, I feed it off.... :D

excellent they didnt waste any time, I have put 2 pairs together in sep cages so I am hoping in a couple of weeks I will also have babies too as my fuzzy supply is running low.

Nice, I try to keep 1.2 together for breeding because you don't waste resources on extra males....

What size cage are you using?

Currently I have this trio in a 10 gallon but as soon as these are weaned they'll be moved into a 20...

:roflmao: That's just great.

I'll try to remember to get a pic of the next peanut helmet head...
