Just the idea of casting Lee Marvin in the lead role is a major clue of the whole theme of this musical. But the surprising part is that it actually WORKS!

You've never seen "Paint Your Wagon"? WOW! My mom made me watch it when I was a kid and it is one of my all time favorites. I need to buy it on DVD someday and make Joe and Jeff watch it!

Oh YAY! Another musical fan!!! Paint your Wagon is one of my all time favourites as well!!! I agree, there is just something special about a very young, gorgeous Clint Eastwood singing!!!
