Well I guess my non eater wont be a problem any longer.I didnt get her lid on correctly yesterday.I usually put weights on all my bins for the babies.I dont have racks because they will only be in the bins till they get big enough for a real cage.So I put 3 lb weights on top of each bin.
But I didnt her bin because i had put her separate from the others until she started eating.:nope:
Its unlikely I will find her, she was very small and we have an old house with lots of nooks and crannys...

On the bright side I picked up the WC black rat today and he was calmer then my anery corn.I was impressed.I just hope he stays that way, he still has a small food bulge so may be in a food coma and not feeling fiesty.Or I may just have a friendly one:)

LOL That would be awesome.But we have heater grates on the wall near the floor they can slip into and there is a closet door with a crack at the bottom and that closet if full of junk, so she could be anywhere. Also the door to the snake room has a crack at the bottom to escape into the livingroom too..I kept meaning to snake proof that room too.Now Im going to do it for sure.
 
You can snake-proof heater grates by taping plastic mesh canvas (from a craft store) over them with aluminum tape.
 
great idea, thanks.I have some nylon window screening I was thinking of using.I have to get some aluminum tape though.
 
I wanted mine to be strong enough to withstand a dog walking on it, or the Roomba cleaning over it. I used aluminum tape so it wouldn't hurt the carpet and leave a sticky residue like duct tape would.
