So, this is my intro post! I'm glad I found this forum. It never hurts to have more information on my side when it comes to my snakey. :)

I've had her for a little over 6 years now. I'm told she was about 3 months when I got her, so she'll be 6 1/2 this month sometime. I was interested in a corn because a friend of mine had one and I wanted to play with it every chance I got. I finally decided to pick one up, so I went to PetCo after class one day. There were two in the tank: a sort of creamy, tan corn and I asked if there were any others. The girl rooted around and found my baby! Her coloring is what instantly made me pick her. I've always been a fan of it and even people that don't like snakes have to admit she has a very nice coloration.

I also realize that Christine is probably a male. I've never had an official test, but I did take her to a local shop that specializes in exotics and reptiles. Their normal guy wasn't there, but the person who was on said that with 95% certainty Christine was a boy. She wasn't completely comfortable using the probing tool, so she didn't want to risk it, but I feel like it's a pretty good guess.

Anyway...she's currently about to shed and come out of her winter hibernation period. This of course means that it's mating season. I was curious if there were a resource or place I could go to find info on possibly studding him out to a breeder? I didn't know if that's something that's done on a normal basis or not. Any info would be appreciated!

P.S. Here's a pic of Christine! It's from a a few months ago, but she's about 4 1/2 feet long.

Thank you! I've always been proud of her coloration! She really is a beautiful snake. Here's what she looked like as a baby when I first got her!
