gun control could be coming

Senate voting just ended. No bad stuff passed, but none of the good stuff did either. Now amendments from Manchin-Toomey (background checks), Grassley (background checks), Collins-Leahy (straw purchases), Cornyn (CCW reciprocity), Frankenstein (modern sporting rifle ban), Burr (not disqualifying vets from owning firearms because they have trouble managing their finances) have failed and Lautenstein/Blumenstein (banning standard capacity magazines) have been defeated. All in all worthy of celebration!

If the Antigun crowd cannot come up with better logic than "guns kill people" and cannot find better salespeople than those injured by mentally disturbed nut balls, we should be profoundly grateful. Lacking facts, emotional appeals are all that is left, and that dog just won't hunt

The time stamp on the video is: Apr. 27, 2012. 12:05 AM EDT [2:02]

Someone just found the story and started circulating it again. It happened last year, well before some of the super crazy anti-gun stuff started. That's why it was not seen, it's nearly a year old.

I got it in an email from a friend. So it is making it's way around for sure.

edit: I pointed out the date to him. He found it on a gun blog site and did the same as I did in just passing it along.

I wish I could ask Bloomberg why he thinks his system works. Criminals don't follow gun laws. I'm sure i'm preaching to the choir but it's gotten ridiculous.

on another note, I got myself an AR-15 over the weekend to go in my work truck. I saw a guy get his water truck jacked and he was beaten pretty bad. i was across the frac water pond with my f-250 and all i could do was grab my pistol and call Border Patrol. hopefully I can stop them from getting within a hundred yards or so from the area with my new rifle. UNDERSTAND that this is only 5% or so of the people crossing. most are decent people looking for a better way of life.
