Bought a corn on Friday so thought it would be a good idea to find a good community of fellow snake owners for advice as this is my first snake.

So hey all!

Welcome to the forum!! This is a great place to learn everything you need to know about corns

Welcome! You've picked a great community to get involved with. :) I hope you enjoy you're stay here. We are all anxious to see pictures of your new pet!

Well she (or he) has likened herself to the top edge of the tank just along the screen top so I'm a bit worried I'll pinch her with the screen if I try to remove it for a picture so I'll wait on that. But anyway she is a baby and I believe an aneytheristic morph. I probably should have asked for her exact age and gender at the store. I was just too excited about getting her.

I haven't even handled her yet since she had eaten the day before I bought her and I read that you should give your snake a few days without handling to let them acclimate to their new home without the added stress of a curious human holding them all the time.

Welcome to the forum and to corn snake ownership! I love anery's! My first snake Diamond is an anery, now 5 yrs old, she's absolutely gorgeous and soooooo sweet and calm and loves to have her chin rubbed. Can't wait to see pics of yr little anery....

Is the belly clear on your snake? If so, I'd say Anery Motley. I like the head pattern. It looks like a bird beak to me. Lol

Gorgeous little Anery!! (I'm not seeing any Motley markings, though? --regarding Halley's comment)

Welcome to the forum! You live practically just up the road from my sister--she lives down in Pueblo. (Or was it Pueblo West? I can't remember--one of the two, anyway!) :)

Welcome! There are quite a handful of Colorado folks here. Pretty little critter you got there. I love the anery based morphs too.

Welcome! I spent 7 years up in Fort Collins and I want to go back so bad! I will actually but up there next week, for about a week. I cant wait!

That is a gorgeous little anery you have there, one of my favorite morphs :)

I should stop posting when I'm tired. Lol.

I'm a bit far from the Springs, but have been there. Always when it's cold. Even in the summer. No idea why. Lol
