Hi!

Just thought I'd introduce myself!

Glad to have a website like this with so much information and resources available...and with so many other corn snake owners.

I've got two snakes that I think are male: Reef is about six years old and I got him from a woman who was moving and couldn't take him with her; Slinky is my first snake and I also rescued him from a woman who was moving and I think he's about 20 years old as I've had him for 17 years.

I'm looking forward to learning from all of you so thanks for your useful posts and to the web manager for making sure everyone here is as legit as possible.

:D

Glad to have you with us! I'm sure everyone will enjoy seeing pics of your two if you can get them :)

Hi Brandi, welcome.
17 years?! Awesome!
My snake was a "son moved out, gonna let it go" Craigslist find so I'm not exact on her age, but I hope she keeps going that long.

Hi there and welcome :D 20yrs WOW as we mentioned we love pics so when you get a chance post a few of you snakeys

i'll try and get some pics of Reef and Slinky out as soon as i can.

Slinky just ate so he's not available and Reef, well, just found out Reef is a girl and she just finished laying her first eggs. i think she might be a little reticent for a while.

by the way, does anyone have suggestions on books to read about taking care of corn snakes? now that i have a female, i feel like i should expand my knowledge about what she'll need too.

"Corn Snakes A comprehensive Owners Guide" By: Kathy and Billy Love. I would get you a link but amazon is being lame right now. It's a wonderful book, lots of pics and nearly everything you need to know :D can't wait for pics.
