Help, Are these eggs bad?

Was out of town for 2 days , came home and found these eggs!

Momma was not guarding them, but didnt like me messing with them..

I just tossed them into my "emergency" incubator. I know my humidity was low in the room, are these eggs good? or can they be saved?

Any opinions or tips?

Thanks

The colored ones look bad. If the other ones puff up then they might be good but I dont think so you never know. good Luck I hope you get something out of them.

The little yellow ones are not good. The bigger white ones are probably good, but they are very dehydrated. They will hopefully plump up now that you have them in the egg container.

Do you have spagnum moss to put over them? I would do that, damp moss, with it wrung out as much as possible. If you don't have that, I would put a very very very wrung out paper towel over them.

Agree with the above. I've had fertile dehydrated eggs in a worse state, plump up once in the higher humidity of the incubator and hatch successfully. The damp paper towel and damp moss have both worked well for me.

Um just out of curiosity do you not use anything as substrate? did the snake shed while you were gone too, or why was the shed left in there?

Some of the eggs look okay, did you not know the female was gravid?

Just paper towel for substrate, yeah the shed and eggs came within 2 days of each other, nothing was left in the tubbs.

I did not "know" she was gravid, i was shocked to say the least!
She only had a male 2 nights, and showed NO interest in him (at least when I was looking)

Dnt know much about breeding corns as I'm a newb but I wanted 2 send my well wishes :) I'll b watching this thread 2 c how u get on. Good luck! I'm routing for your young uns!

If you intro a female to a male and stop watching assume they bred. That is what I do. Better safe than sorry. but hey you live you learn. good luck with the eggs!

It's kind of like being a Prom Night chaperone - if you let them out of your sight for an instant, they'll be doing what comes naturally in no time at all!

A liltle late on this :) yep, i'd say the "dark" ones are no good but yeah the other 1's are ok just need more humidity and a lid on the container with a few holes in it, just my way, it works for me and this is only my second year of breeding :)

Just wandering, does anybody put lids on there boxes

Oh yes have to have lids on the incubating boxes otherwise its very hard to control humidity and keep in little wurms when they hatch.
