Yes Quigs.. I did say AROUND 1400 one day.. and 2000 a few days later. The word AROUND can grammatically be used in the same sense as approximately. The mice live 1500 miles away from me, I couldn't exactly run out and count them.
And YES I am rude... deal with it... AKA do unto others as you would have them do unto you. You folks are to to me, so you get it back.
If you read any texts on mouse breeding, 4 hours IS a breeding day.
The females live in a HOVEL, not a tank. Its a platfrom, with 4 inch tall sides... no walls, not enclosed.

Was NOT made by me, I've never even read the thread... I've been breeding them for 15 years, and am 100% against pine as substrate for ANY animals. I was IN THE HOSPITAL from Oct 20 -29...

Is a generalization.. there are a LOT of breeds of mice... and they all are ready to breed at a different age.
Quoted: These numbers just don't add up. We've produced somewhere in the neighborhood of 5,000 mice this year alone and have no where near the number of breeders you claim to have (400 breeding pairs or 1000s, depending on which post you want to recall). And before you ramble about selectively breeding pet and show mice, therefore you don't accumulate the number we "prey item" breeders do. Why would you have 1000s of mice (producing as high as 17-25 count litters, as you seemingly are bragging about in another post from just a day earlier) if you weren't going for numbers?
Who said I'm not going for numbers? I get $35 per mouse for the fancier ones.. of course I'm going for numbers.

Please disclose the reference source for this, I'd love to read it! (Of course, I know that won't happen.)
Disclose the reference? Ummm HELLO? Thats the title of the book. I got it from the CVMA axillary for $125.95 CAD
Quoted: Oh, and I did not include some of the trival things. Such as when you argued with Katie about Hagen being a Canadian company. In fact, Hagen is a international company, however their world headquarters are located in Montreal, Canada and was founded there by Mr. Rolf C. Hagen in 1955 as a one man operation. Here's a link to further your education on the subject.
Actually I said its a US BASED company... AKA the factories that produce the goods are located in the US.
As for Emmy (the exes boa) HE says shes close to 15 feet, ask him how he measures her... I have no idea. All I know is she huge, and fat, and bites peoples butts.
